I feel like allardyce has taken us as far as he can and the time has come to move on. In 4 years he has taken us from championship mediocrity to challenging for the champions league. It hasn't been pretty but his work has been admirable

Leigh Jim 11.46 is about right. Perfectly ok to recognise Allardyce's achievements and also realise that it's time to move on. That's how I feel.When he arrived we were royally fucked. Whatever you might speculate the reasons for this to be, right now we are certain, at the start of the year, not to be relegated. He's delivered, but come next season time to kick on. Fucking pointless to have a go at BFS for being BFS as if he'd taken some wonderful team and fucked it up.
I don't like some of what he does, but fuck me, we're a long way down the line from scraping a win in the play offs, and it's absurd not to give him credit for that.
